Some of the best folks I work with are "migres" but they have a Green card allowing them to work. I have listened to some of the mothers of families in a 4 apartment building next to one owned by a friend of mine learning English from their children that are attending school as they insist their kids do their homework. Kind of strange isn't it that parents take the time to learn the language of their new land from the kids? Or is it that they take the time with their children so they might build a better future for themselves? Going a bit off topic but if more people cared about their children they would spend time helping them with homework...reading stories at bedtime...talking with them...singing little songs together...letting them 'help' with household chores (even if it takes a bit longer to let them feel important in household tasks)...kids are more observant than most of us give them credit for. >From a message by <> about Re: OT Military: > How do they cost?
