Subj : Re: TW Awards To : All From : Father Cajone Date : Sat Jan 11 2003 05:00 am Totally in agreement as last year's awards seem to have been much better than the previous ones. There were more categories and lots of new nominations with many fresh names that have since played in games like "The Big Game" and a few others. Now...turning my focus on you...what kind of category should we ask whoever runs it for you? The ones already in place or perhaps "Best Low Time Game", "Best non-M$..t site", "Consistent Flame Diplomat"? It is obvious you will gain few votes in the "Whine and Cheese" category! hehehehe >From a message by col sanders about TW Awards: > While its true that G and I do not get along, I too would like to see him do the awards again this year. Interestingly, he and I were friendly at the time of the awards last year, it was not till later that we had our big fight. Anyway, I agree with SLG that the awards don't really mean that much to those of us that do not get them . I do think however that the Awards are an important part of TW tradition. When people stop caring about stuff like that, and stop flaming, then TW will truely be dead. Anyway, I would still like an award before I officially retire from TW . So get me an award and I just might leave all of you alone....Hell, I would even be happy with a pitty award . But I am extremely interested to see, if Gyspy can once again use his database of all TWGS licensees, just what is the state of TW out there in the world. The awards give us a chance to be surprised by how many unknowns there out there... Col Sanders --- FEddy 1.4.03/modPHX * Origin: http://www.twgs.org -- THE Trade Wars web forum! (1:229/522.0) .
