Some people push more than others. What people have to understand is, there are people who REALLY want to win these tournies. THOSE people are like the parents at kids baseball games who attack other kid players and other parents. Those people will ruin the game for you if you let them. When you play a tourny, KNOW what you are getting into. Do not take it seriously, or personally. Its like football. (btw, NINERS). Yesterday, in the Niners game, it should have been over when the Niners intercepted the Giants pass. But the zebras made a bad call and called it incomplete. Being a huge Niners fan, I was prepared to bitch until next season about how the Niners got robbed. I saw an interview with Tim Brown before the game, if you remember last year, there was a bad call and the Raiders got robbed against the Patriots, then the Pats went and won the superbowl... The interviewer mentioned the Raiders loss last year, and Tim Brown didn't bitch about the bad call. It made me think. Part of sportsmanship is accepting that the zebras, in this case, the Sysop, is part of the game, just like the field, or the server. The way the sysop enforces the rules is going to be fair the VAST majority of the time. Even if you get a bad call against you, or someone gets away with something, TW is like football, its not just one set of downs and the game is over, in football you have 1 hour of playing time, in the USO you have 2 months or something... The point being, bad calls get made, its part of the game. This doesn;t change the fact that some players will push and bend the rules and try to cheat at every turn. You just have to accept it, those things happen. Play on a server where you trust the Sysop to do his best to enforce the rules, and put some faith in Karma. In a BIG game like USO, there are plenty of players who can punish teams that bend rules.
