Subj : Re: USO .twa file To : All From : Silver Dragon Date : Sat Jan 04 2003 03:27 pm You read my response to you it had nothing to do with it. Allthough I value everyones input. >From a message by Timberwolf about USO .twa file: > Silver Dragon I hope you did not make your decision not to release the .twa file based soley on my earlier comment about the .twa file. Like Space Ghost said, I'm not playing and my opinion don't matter, but I wanted to make the opninion anyways. If you made the decision based on other factors, then that's cool. But if you made the decision based on my comment, nope no way, that's wrong. Space Ghost, I don't know why you are so upset over SD's decision not to release a .twa file. You are a great player and you have played countless games without the use of a .twa file sneak preview. Why should that change now? Way I see it, this should motivate you to kick everyone's asses in the USO or at least try and lose your moniker "Ghost with the most pods in the USO" :) Everyone else, I believe Bad Girl usually did not make her edits final til Feb 1 each year. Please allow SD this same leeway. If he sees an oops in his edits, give him the chance to fix it so it can be a great game that is mistake-free as possible so as long as all edits are fixed by Feb 1 and then no other changes can be made to it after that. Since i'm not playing USO whatsoever, I'm willing to offer a compromise to everyone, SD and SG included. I am more than willing to examine the .twa file myself, compare it to posted edits on the USO site and report to everyone the posted edits are on the up and up. Silver Dragon will have my word 100% I will not give the .twa file to anyone for any reason whatsoever. Since I have no stake in the USO and have nothing to gain or lose by viewing the file, I think it is a fair compromise. I know I'm an asshole myself, but I also would like to see the rest of you get along and actually have a tournament with less whining and moaning as possible. Thank you.
