CA>Honestly I freely admit M$ has made some goofy mistakes and CA>tried to micro-manage their customers but the auto industry has CA>done the same for longer. I don't consider M$ as evil as CA>Symantec, Norton, or a number of others out there I am so very CA>glad I _don't_ have to deal with. CA>TW> And from some reports I have seen MSN is NO differnent. CA>TW> Althouhg admittedly it is far better then the first CA>TW> implementation. CA>You've lost me again. I thought we were referring to MSN as the CA>ISP. I think you are referring to the 'chat' software? I AM talking about their ISP. The first implementation was almost as bad as Windows 1.x In fact as I recal iot was specidficly that you could ONLY use MS IE and Outlook and there were aslo some things that Locked you into Hotmail. But as I said they have loosened the Strangle Hold i nthe Uasers a litrle but it is styil a VERY poor ISP overal lcompaired bo what is avaiable out there. Intersstingly NetZero in one of the highest rated independent ISP's. Along with CopperNet ans one other I don't recall at the moment. A::quite a biot Cheaper then the MSN Isp/ --- þ SLMR 2.1a þ This note from El Cajon California USA * Origin: Try Our Web Based QWK: DOCSPLACE.ORG (1:123/140) .
