Well that's a possiblility, one I just turned down.   
Someone here offered me the PCI riser card for the 486 
as it can take either ISA or PCI.    
Weird motherboard.

I'm not interested in the old 486 machine much anymore
except for for network experimentation and 10 Meg is fine for that.
