Honestly I freely admit M$ has made some goofy mistakes and
tried to micro-manage their customers but the auto industry has
done the same for longer. I don't consider M$ as evil as
Symantec, Norton, or a number of others out there I am so very
glad I _don't_ have to deal with.

You've lost me again. I thought we were referring to MSN as the
ISP. I think you are referring to the 'chat' software?
