Ah!  Sorry about that chief.  I read the original differently.

That sounds like a good plan.  A 486 can keep up on a 10Mb connection.  It's 
the 100Mb where it starts having problems and unless the 486 has pci I doubt 
you will find a ISA card that can do 100Mb.
