They -> work good but the 3c509's are a noticable improvement (transfer speeds etc.). Hey, lucked out as it seems I HAVE one of these cards, ISA too so that lone slot can be used instead of one of the remaining 2 PCI. It's used and acquired some time ago so it's status is as yet unknown but it's labeled Ethernet III 3c509B :-) Gets bad when you have to overlap two sets of glasses to read that small print on the green PC board Also looked into some Linux instalation instructions from the command line and saved them to diskette.
