In fact it is stil in the box ML> TW> having never been used. But as another has already said I am ML> TW> holding it in reserve in case my old USR Courier dies. And at ML> TW> some $300 PLUS for a new one thast makes it something I cannot ML> TW> afford. ML>errr... you don't buy new couriers... you send the brok ones to ML>them for repair or replacement... both of mine have gone that route ML>eight or nine times and both have at least one more trip to make ML>when i find the time to sit down an call them for the RMAs... TW> Not being an Origional SysOp Owner I didn't have that TW> "Privedledge". what privilege? USR Courier modems are commercial grade modems not consumer grade like the Sportsters... i've had both Sysop Deal (with the plaque) and not and alway sent them in for repair or relacement... when i hd to send them in when 3COM was handling them, i did /not/ get back plaqued modems for my sysop deal ones... when i called them on that, they didn't have a clue thru three tech levels and two supervisory levels above them... needless to say, i don't have any plaqued sysop deal courier modems today :( TW> DEo you think whey will still repair my old Courier HST? that i highly doubt... ML>i can't locate any sportsters in any stores in my area or 50 miles ML>radius :( TW> Just Yesterday I saw them in the San Diego FRY's Store. damn... is that the black one? i saw one of those on the USR site but $100 is too much for a throwaway consumer modem... for that price, i expect to be able to send it in for repair or replacement when it breaks... and it surely will out here where i live ;) )\/(ark * Origin: (1:3634/12) .
