Do the paper feed rollers still turn? HP came out with a "service tool" which was basically a metal 'paper tray' with a flat sheet of VERY coarse sandpaper mounted on it. The function was to snap it into the place of the paper tray, it would trip the 'out of paper sensor', and the tecnnician would then hit a dozen or more 'form feeds' to force the rollers to run against the rough sandpaper and cut the glaze off the roller wheels. You can probably improvise something similar. Good luck... M. --- Msged/386 TE 06 (pre) * Origin: Matt's Hot Solder Point, New Orleans, LA (1:396/45.17) .
