Same with wget (console). In fact it should be possible to use wget, possibly kget, to install packages on the fly from the server. Seems to me he had an example of how to do that in the html doc. Without having X running I doubt kget would be doable but I did manage to get X running in a chrooted enviroment so with a bit of tweaking and programing I bet a kde version of ttylinux would be entirely possible.
