The droping the4 code requirement for al lclasses of Licences except Advanced it stil la proposal as is Advancing al lNO Code Techs(which passed the General Exam but didn't have to take to take the code test) is aslo still being Concidered by the FCC. I myself have mixed feelings about the whole thing. And actualy side with thise fighting to keep the present structure. I have finaly even stopped monitoring the Ham Bands becasue I don't like what I hear. At least learing a little code, soemthing I have no capability of doing, screened out some of the Idiots. The thing that rerally irritates me are the Licence Cram sessions. They take a full day and they bspecificly teach the Test Question answers insterd of the theory behind them. And at the end of the day they give the test and yopu wank out with a ticket.. As a result of this the mindless "Talking Heads" on 2 meters has increased 100 fold. People talking just to hear their Head Rattle. :-( :-( --- þ SLMR 2.1a þ This note from El Cajon California USA * Origin: Try Our Web Based QWK: DOCSPLACE.ORG (1:123/140) .
