I was speaking of using it for a Feed Line in this case. BUT i nthe Early years of CB, in the days you had to get a "Licence", I did build an 11 meter Coaxial Antenna out of RG-58. Worked very well. And was quite a bit cheaper then the base antennas of the day. My first Citizens Band Mobile was a Ratheon Unit with a Vibrator and Vacuum tubes. Has a 108 Inch Fiberglass whip for a while but I got tired of it hitting things and later aquired a shorter Helical Wound Fiberglass antenna.
