Subj : Battery charger. To : TOM WALKER From : JEAN PARROT Date : Tue Jun 21 2005 10:57 am Hello Tom, we were saying ! TW> One thing. Note that the numbers are Percent Figures. 10% of MaH for TW> Charging, 5% of MaH for Floating. JP> Please confirm to me Tom, that this would be the total JP> MaH, not individual cell capability. I think that it would be JP> total but nothing like being sure. TW> IF talking individual cells it is the Cell Mah. IF talking about a TW> series string battery pack it is the MaH of the Lowest rated Single TW> cell. I was typing about the 10% or the 5% of the charging for the whole pack, Tom. This is a slide off type of pack and it can be recharged three ways, with 12v car current, and two other "brick" charger. It has the three connectors, I use one for a power supply 12v charge, the same PS that I use for my 2m radio. All three will admit a 12v supply but use three different connectors ??? The main brick is 12v 300mA. Should this be the governing factor, even for NiMH cells, in serie, 11 of them ? From Roxboro on an Athlon 1.2. Runs quite nicely. ___ Blue Wave/DOS v2.30 --- Platinum Xpress/Win/WINServer v3.0pr5 * Origin: Try Our Web Based QWK: DOCSPLACE.ORG (1:123/140) .
