Subj : Battery charger. To : JEAN PARROT From : TOM WALKER Date : Mon Jun 20 2005 08:06 am JP> TW> One thing. Note that the numbers are Percent Figures. 10% of MaH for JP> TW> Charging, 5% of MaH for Floating. JP> Please confirm to me Tom, that this would be the total JP> MaH, not individual cell capability. I think that it would be JP> total but nothing like being sure. IF talking individual cells it is the Cell Mah. IF talking about a series string battery pack it is the MaH of the Lowest rated Single cell. Althouhg That is HIGHLY discouraged. The Cells in a pack Must be the same MaH or you are asking for trouble, premature failure of the battery pack. For critical applications, like life Critical Medical equipment, they actualy put each cell through several Charge/Discharge cycles and them match the cells in eack pack as closely as possable. --- þ SLMR 2.1a þ This note from El Cajon California USA * Origin: Try Our Web Based QWK: DOCSPLACE.ORG (1:123/140) .
