RT> RT> Yeah, there's something to be said for random access all right. RT> RT> Which I guess is why I tend to play my CDs more often than my tapes, RT> RT> even though I have a lot more tapes on hand. Maybe I oughta rip 'em RT> RT> to HD and make MP3s out of them, or something. RT>*.wav files to normal CD would be much better ... I overlooked that one. IF one has soemthing of any value it should be saved as a .wav file. It can always be converted to an .mp3 for casual use. BUT an .mp3 despite its wonder is quite a bit lower in Quanity and ONCE the quality is gone it is Gone Forver. A .wav is as close to the Origional as technologicaly possable. I preach this constantly about Digital Photography. Take EVERYTHING at the Highest resolution your camera is capable of. Later the Picture can Always be reduced in resolution for special purposes. BUT the quality can NEVER be really Increased. Once the opportunity for a picuture is Gone it is Typicaly Gone frpoever. --- þ SLMR 2.1a þ This note from El Cajon California USA * Origin: Try Our Web Based QWK: DOCSPLACE.ORG (1:123/140) .
