I was astounded last night, while scrapping some parts off boards, to pull one item that turned out to be a lithium battery -- roughly the same diameter as a AA but only about 7/16" long, and it had tabs welded to it to mount to the board -- and it still tested good! This was off a board that came out of an old terminal that i scrapped that had been sitting in storage for some years...
