Some of the pack prices are qourageious aren't they. The key to Self
REbuilding is like that for Laptops. DON'T destroy the pack during the
opening operation. BUT you apparently have a handle on those type of
operations.
On the Prizmatic batteries what type are they?
I saw the F3, F4, F5, F6, and F8 listed.
It was a wholesale only place so their minimum order was for Quanities
of 100. The prices per cell for NiMH in those lots was between $1.37 to
$2.16
Now the Li-Ion are a bit more expensive. There were many more sizes
also. with lot of 100 prices ranging between $2.25 and $6.90
Interstingly for those they did list a "Sample Price"(single prices??).
Those for the same Prismatics they went for between $6.75 and $18.24.
Looksa like Prismatic Batteries are a High Profit ITEM. :-)

in mind:

Diameter can vary as much as 1 mm between different manufacturers
Length can also vary, and also increase with a protruding end cap.
Weights listed are just the first thing we found in a catalog in that
size. YOU CAN'T COMPARE WEIGHTS OF DIFFERENT CHEMISTRIES FROM THIS
CHART. Weight of a cell depends on a lot of manufacturer - dependent
things. The purpose of the weight column is to give a feel for how heavy
a cell will be. Your results will vary. Batteries not included.
Not all the sizes in this chart can be found off-the-shelf. But we can
get just about any size made for you. Just ask!
