Taht violates soem Principles of Electricla Current. No matter if it is
AC or DC the Cureenet must pass form the Welding Rod to the Work, Pass
throught the object being welded itself were ANY current flow
back to the Ground return connection of the Welder woudl produce
additional Head. BUT and heat produced is Ignificant to that of
the Welding "Arc" itself. And amps are vamps as far as heating goes.
Doen't mater if they are AC or DC. BUT there are soem advantages to both
AC and DC welders. Which of course at my age I have really frogotten.
Perhasp some other "Expert" here can give us a brief review.
