        I had a look at his site and after wending my way through the
  chaff, I finally found the part about batteries as they pertain to
  boats. Yes, quite interesting.

        Serving on these subs must have been quite the experience. Good
  for you. I would not change my view of the horizon for yours though.
  Going at 20 knots when I could go at 700 would not have been fair. Tee !
  hee ! We sure lived different lives. Both good and fine.
