OK but if we're going to use our personal opinions as the
yardstick we have a stalemate. :-)

Poorly designed parts make for poorly assembled automobiles.
You have the impression hourly empoloyees have a motive for
producing low quality automobiles and that's just not true at
all. 

Upper level managers looking to cut corners to earn bonuses is
as much to blame as any other factor.
