We used to use 2, slightly less dangerous, particular demos to get the message across to our "trainees". 1. A mannequin's head complete with hair, onto which we poured a small whiskey tot of 70% H2O2. Instant & fairly impressive blaze. 2. A wrench, recently used in an oily situation but wiped "clean". Threw that into a container with approx half a pint of that 70%. That made a nice wee bang ;) ->> that stuff is frequently used by folks to bleach their hair - ->> it's because that 3% H2O2 releases sufficient Oxygen to cause the ->> hair to act as the fuel and start the burning process. ->> Clear as mud ?? ->> (I used to work with Stentor engined items and other bits for a ->> number of years .....)
