His car ->> (brand new) never ran right after that and he blamed me and ->> that 'Purple Martin' gasoline he had to buy while downtown. ->> I've WC> Wonder if he knew he had a fuel filter or changed it? Lots WC> of people do not know this. I ADDED aftermarket fuel WC> filters to my motorcycles and changed them regularly. We both knew about fuel fitlers at the time. What I did not know years later was that Oldsmobile had another filter inside the carburetor just after the gasline connection. That one threw me until a racing enthusiast friend asked me if I had ever changed it. :-) WC> Saved a lot of other more labor intensive maintanance.
