Some just say it's hard coded and they CA>> can't make any adjustments (which sounds odd but may be true?). DO> Depends on the BBS software. Most allow external protocol drivers DO> and the ones from Omen are far more configurable than most DO> built-in ones. Chuck Forsberg has made the source code and binaries available for many OS at his server but the last so-called sysop I tried to persuade to use it couldn't understand how to configure it and just gave up. I do use GSZ as my external zmodem when direct dialing BBS and doing zmodem transfers (with Moby turned on). It works flawlessly. Omen Tech FDSZ is what I use for my telnet zmodem external protocol (the "F" is for "fossil"). The receiving side seems to control the settings so that when I am receiving I can tweak until it works. When the other side is receiving and the sysop can't or won't adjust their settings there is nothing I can do at my end to `fix' the problem. 8( > > , , > o/ Charles.Angelich \o , > <| AngelFirecom |> __o/ > / > USA, MI < \ __\__ --- * ATP/16bit 2.31 * ....
