Umm... I tried that already. I believe they want files to go through FTP so that file traffic can be properly logged. There is some I/O lock where if the uploaded 8-bit datastream doesn't have the proper handshake on it, the buffer is flushed and I/O is halted. That is why I wish more web sites and places has UUENCODED 7-bit ASCII data files, because they can flow along with textual I/O, and you can reclaim the files in pieces, just like with ZMODEM RESUME. (In fact, it would be nice to have a UURESUME to restart a send a UU-Block PART ###. <* Sigh! *> ) That is also why I need an FTP client (unless I can talk everyone into UUE-ing their file directories...). --- Platinum Xpress/Win/Wildcat5! v3.0pr3 * Origin: Lost in the SuperMarket - Peabody, MA - 978-531-8416 (1:101/101) .
