Subj : Polls to nodes with Internet connectivity only To : Dmitry Osipov From : Goran Eriksson Date : Thu Jun 08 2000 11:12 am DO> First, t-mail never calling pvt systems. DO> Fourth, t-mail calls systems with undefined worktime only in DO> crash/imm poll mode. But I'm talking about the ability of a T-Mail master process without any communications ability (no modem, no Internet connection) to generate poll messages. It's quite obvious that such a process will never call out. But it would be a good thing if it created poll messages as requested without any limitations. If there are no processes (T-Mail processes or other mailer processes) which will call out as a result of that poll message, that's my problem as sysop. T-Mail shouldn't care. --- * Origin: GET, Lidingo, Sweden, +46-8-7655670 (2:201/505.1) .
