Anybody write to Andy to see what he has to say? I will, if nobody has done so. SQ>> I know of at least one sysop here in Region 19 who runs T-Mail, and SQ>> who really likes it. DV> So why not? There lots of SysOps in 2:50* who use T-Mail. To my Much harder to get a new product into use here in Zone 1, where most of us are stuck on the old standards like FrontDoor, Binkley, and so forth. While I have no plans to give up FrontDoor, I do like to look at newer software and play with it (in fact, Argus runs on my IP-only node in Net 3830). DV> mind it is very simple and comfortable. I do recall that I didn't have much trouble in getting it to run. DV>>> (as it happened with GoldEd - we have ours way you have DV>>> the other) SQ>> Some of our folks use your version instead. :-) I have a downlink who uses GoldED+, and I -think- one of my points does. DV> Whose version is better? I didn't see any version of GoldEd except DV> by Oddin & by Alexander Aganichev. Other than the Dirk Mueller versions, those are the only ones I've seen. Hard for me to say which is better, because I used GoldED for -years- before I began to beta test FrontDoor (where I'm pretty much expected to use FM), but I've just downloaded GoldED+ for use with 9005.2, where I'm doing some other testing. We'll see. --- * Origin: Fish he got problem. (1:393/9005) .
