I've noticed than it really MAY use lot of CPU res. during handshaking, but not 
always. Sometimes it's like hanged app. and sometimes handshaking goes fast as 
on modem connections.

Strange:) i used 2 similar T-mails on 2 machines - results may vary (c) :)

I think, you'd use priorities of processes, if it exist in OS/2, i don't know.
 GE> I'm using Warp 4 with fixpak 13.
That is the main difference - i'm using NT or 98
But it never hangs under NT. IMHO it is protols bugs (tcp/ip i mean).
