 It goes on here in North America as well, but only in certain echos. If a 
moderator forbids swearing, the feed can be cut from that echo if the offender 
does not stop after the moderator warns them. Unfortunately, some moderators 
seem to have let things slide in some cases.

 I would also like to say that I like to see Russian participants communicating 
in English in this echo. Since Fidonet is mainly growing in Russia and Europe, 
it is good to have dialogue between Zone 1 and Zone 2. I feel too often the 
Zones keep to themselves, and communication does not often happen between the 
Zones.
