Could you remove that and build with VERBOSE?  Let me know what it's trying to
link when you get this too... the value of LD should actually be used for
linking anymore.  It sounds like a bad gcc install to tell the truth...
libstdc++ is part of GCC, not part of Solaris... g++ should be doing the right
thing automagically.

The current source builds with no such error on Solaris10/SPARC.
