I guess cheap NATting routers don't have as much flexibility. A lot of home routers will redirect traffic to the public ip from inside the lan back to the host the port is forwarded to.. some don't, my new firewall box doesn't, my solution was to setup dns for hostnames that point to my network, with their local ip, and use that for dns for machines inside the network.. pretty much have them all setup at this point... -- Michael J.
