I wrote a small tcp based xml->odbc gateway, but the tcp connection part was pretty heavy, and it didn't perform too well.. the js parsing was a bit sluggish as well.. if you talk to Evan Elias on irc, he's been working on a js based door engine, with sqlite db access... not sure how far he is in it. -- Michael J.
