I'm so sorry.  I am not aware of any specific medication, but perhaps some 
day you will spontaneously recover!

Is your 'sbbs user' named 'sbbs'?  What group are they in?  And what is 
their home directory called?  Will this script (the first one) be run 
manually by someone logged in as the 'sbbs user' or will it be run via the 
'cron' daemon?
