I didn't find the real cause (other than LinuxThreads suck), but I did find
another system that I could reproduce the problem on (RH Linux ES 3.0). Anyway,
there's a new work around in main.cpp, so you should need those other EX_INR
kludges now.

Thanks. After much pain (a very slow install due to the nececessity of
ide=nodma), I upgraded my system and cifs is just a little less broken, but
still broken none the less. :-(
