If you're on a residential service (cable, DSL, etc.), many of the receiving ISPs block your direct delivery to the mail relays. We'd really need to see the exact error from the log to determine if that's what's happening. It's always safest to relay through your ISP using the method I described, if it's provided by the ISP. Otherwise, on non-commercial or dynamic IP address space, you're almost sure to encounter some large ISPs that won't accept traffic directly from you, e.g. Earthlink, AOL, etc. --- þ Synchronet þ BBS Doors (www.bbsdoors.com) .
