I have no idea how but they are getting around that and it is 100% open source. They aren't using any of the "leaked code" and I asked "how can you get around all this without violating copyright or being yet another win4lin type deal" and their reply to that was "the way is there within the tech manuals, you just need to read between the lines". If you wish a debate on this it's better to take it up with them because being a non-programmer I am baffled as to how and why they are able to do this and I have no explanation and nothing I can tell you. > As for ext2, you can already get an ext driver for NT based windows > (nt4/2k/xp). Yes, I know. Thats how they are going to be able to use ext2 *instead of* NTFS. -- .---------------------------------------------------------------. | [TiME WaRRiOR] aka [Dave Kelso] AIM: Twar782 | +o Malkavia BBS | | www : synchsupport.net - malkaviabbs.com - xpresit.net | | www$: josephsjewelersonline.com - preferedinsurance.com | | @: time.warrior@malkaviabbs. com | \______________________________________________________________/ --- Synchronet 3.13a-Win32 NewsLink 1.76 * Malkavia - Chicago, IL - telnet://malkaviabbs.com --- Synchronet 3.13b-Win32 NewsLink 1.83 .
