No. I've ran both Mandrake and RH in the past. But since the wife AND kids
discovered the joys of the internet and computing in general, had to ditch 'em
for WINXP. Main reason was that NEITHER distro of Linux supported WinModems. We
only have dialup here and my last hardware modem died years ago. If I could
find a distro that supported WinModems, I might switch back again. I even
downloaded and installed ReactOS on this box using QEMU. Very intriguing.
Believe me, I have experimented with TONS of alternative OS's over the years
and welcome ANY open-source OS that is compatible with the hardware on this
DELL Dimension 3000 box.
