The problem I had with this scenerio is that when I did that, yes, I could
get mail from his board, but... It reveresed the situation... in that alot
of the other boards that I was connecting to were then broken.  

The easiest fix was to sort of change around the connection... Melkor
already called my board for mail, so, he just added his network into my
packet and vise versa.  Works for us.
