I notice that the listing for some files repeats the file name after the size
on the first line, and the description is on the second line.  With other
files, the description is after everything else on the first line.  I think
the pattern is that the file name repeats if it is less than eight characters
long (without extension).

Can the feature be turned off?  It unnecessarily reduces the number of files
listed on a single screen.
