This ftp-qwk.bin was not found anywhere, it was in the starnet setup.txt file. 
changing it to qnet-ftp, that part worked, then had another error of

That error was pkzip and pkunzip wasn't located in the exec folder.  Dove-net
worked fine but I think it used zip and unzip which were already in the folder
and placing a copy in there it worked great.
 
I just needed to open my eyes and I found the log (smile).
