How should these options (in the control panel) be set when Synchronet is to stay up continuously?

Right now I have XP set to turn off hard disks after 1 hour and put the computer on standby after 2
hours, hibernate never.

If a call comes in or an event is to occur when the HD is off, will it work?

What if the computer is on standby?
