Absolutely, there's several variants of VNC out there, I use UltraVNC because
I liked the connection screen better, and it connected easier through the
internet than realVNC did.

It's nice when you need to connect to your own PC from miles away, or another
PC on your network.  Place the viewer on a USB key and travel with it, any PC
should them be able to allow you to connect.

Now what's really cool, is the Remote Desktop program I purchased for my
BlackBerry, then VNC through the house network to whatever PC I need.  Looks
like I'm gaming on the BB or something, hehe..
