For what its worth, I think it's a *really* bad idea. If you want to become
familiar with how Synchronet for Linux looks/feels/works, just run sbbs.exe
instead of sbbsctrl.exe.

Your challenge will be configuring/using Linux, not Synchronet. Don't make
things even tougher on yourself by trying to run a kludged BBS when it isn't
necessary.
