Yeah, you're still misunderstanding. If you block "*@somedomain.com" that will
block e-mail addresses of [anytext]@somedomain.com. If you block
"*.somedomain.com" it will block e-mail addresses of [anytext].somedomain.com.

Notice, I didn't use the word "allow". :-)
