I don't run one but I *have* one that works pretty well. Would you like a copy? > I think trying to port an entire BBS worth of content to the WWW through a > browser is kinda pointless. Making it a priority is pointless. However overall, a web front end does serve a very important purpose. Eventually "an entire BBS worth of content" will be available via Synchweb. However the BBS itself (ie - the exe file and what the BBS SERVER is capable of) is a higher priority to improve upon and add cool new features than the web front end is. The web front end is pretty nice as it stands. Duece will improve upon it eventually in due time. For those wishing new web features -- they can either tamper with making mods like I did and will continue to do in the future, or they can wait patiently. If anyone wishes to be impatient, then I'm sure Deuce will be more than happy to vastly speed up development if the impatient person would be more than happy to write him a check for a generous sum of monitary encouragement :-) If I wasn't so broke i'd throw some cash Deuce and Rob's way. They both work harder on this stuff than we'll ever know. -- .---------------------------------------------------------------. | [TiME WaRRiOR] aka [Dave Kelso] AIM: Twar782 | +o Malkavia BBS | | www : synchsupport.net - malkaviabbs.com - xpresit.net | | www$: josephsjewelersonline.com - preferedinsurance.com | | @: time.warrior@malkaviabbs. com | \______________________________________________________________/ --- Synchronet 3.12a-Win32 NewsLink 1.76 * Malkavia - Chicago, IL - telnet://malkaviabbs.com --- Synchronet 3.13a-Win32 NewsLink 1.83 .
