Ok. Let me understand this correctly.

I have in my "email.can" file the line "*@optonline.com" <sans quotes>. 
I also have in my "email.can" file the line "*.optonline.com" <sans quotes>.

I just received an email From:someone@optonline.com   Why?

I'm talking about the email.can file, not the host file.
