From this point it says to skip to Step 5, which jumps over most of the manual instructions, then it's just configuration. I followed this on my system and literally in no time it was installed. As for using Linux, you don't need to be a programmer, though it helps since programmers write all the docs :) I used to code many years ago, but now the most I write is some ColdFusion, PHP, and t/SQL. I haven't done application programming since the DOS days, but I'm really wanting to get back into it with Linux and Sync. Anyway, download Slackware 10.2 (that's what I'm using - two CD's) and give it a shot. I don't know how to migrate an existing Windows board to Linux, but there's gotta be someway.
