Well actually adding some kind of gaming capability to the web interface would be nice, just so long as it's accessible. What I mean is, just so long as a visually impaired person or someone in a similar situation can access it. I was very worried when Rob planned to add a web interface to Synch, but I'm very pleased that with a windows computer and IE6 with a popular screen reader, a blink can access Synch quite nicely. telnet and speech can be tricky because often the screen reader interprets the graphics as if they were accent marks in another language, and it can start saying the name of the graphic. Usually I tell people when they dconnect to a bbs via telnet to turn off all extended ascii, and go for mono or tty or whatever. The hitch there is that they might not be able to run some door games that need ansi. anyway... --- þ Synchronet þ Greenwood, Lake Placid, NY, telnet://greenwoodbbs.dyndns.org .
