I suspect the problem is another piece of software interfering with socket
inheritence. See http://synchro.net/docs/tcpip_faq.html#socket_io for details.

Do the SBJ and SBL doors work? Does SEXYZ (see docs/sexyz.txt for details on
upgrading)? If none of these programs work, then the cause is most definitely
another piece of (security) software on your system.
